Two Rivers Big Picture School's
Digital Library

Created by Two Rivers students in collaboration with the Garhart Foundation (and other partners), for the purpose of documenting local history.
Our digital library is a student-led initiative showcasing the history, culture, and creativity of our local community and Two Rivers activities. Here, you'll find photos from our field trips, highlights of special events, and an archive of the historical artifacts displayed in our hallway cases. Join us in exploring the stories that connect our past, present, and future.
About Us:
Digital Library Development Group:
A group of students collaborating in a project class, managed by Charlie Kinnune and carried out through the participants, in order to establish a website for perishable historical artifacts and documents.

Big Picture Philosophy:
Our big Picture school prioritize internships, advisories, personalized learning, and authentic assessment. Students pursue chosen interests, complete real-world internships, and develop through sustained mentorship, taking ownership of their education. Graduation depends on demonstrated competencies rather than accumulated credits.

In Regards to New Donations:
Donations will be used to expand our digital library, through uploading high quality photographs of said artifacts to our website. Physically, the content will be stored in our very own display case within the school building.

Our Purpose
Two Rivers Field Trips
We are the Two Rivers Big Picture School Digital Library Development Team.
Our job is to take artifacts and pieces reflecting the history of our local area and digitize them by uploading them to the internet. This way, we take what’s old, few and fragile to make them inextinguishable, readily accessible online.
